Today we welcomed back our primary pupils and our secondary students. Everyone looked very clean and tidy in their new uniforms and shiny new shoes - thank you to all our parents and carers for your great efforts. Some of our pupils (as always) have had yet another growth spurt, as well as some new hairstyles - they grow up so fast !
All our staff looked very relaxed and refreshed too, from their summer holidays. It was good to be back together again. Some of them also had new shoes and new hairstyles ... and even Mr Whelan wore his brand new trousers, after he remembered to remove the label !
Today we also welcomed a new member of staff - Mr Griffiths, who is joining us as our Acting Deputy Head. We wish him well in his new role and i'm sure everyone will say hello as and when they see him around school.
Pupils and Students - Have a good term and a good year. Work hard and remember your staff know you, they know what you are good at and what you need support with - please make sure you ask for help when you need it - it really is that easy. Enjoy.
