Mr Whelan is temporarily away from Newfield supporting another local Sefton School. He is still popping in and keeping an eye on us all - usually a Friday afternoon! In Mr Whelan's absence, Mr Griffiths is Acting Headteacher, DSL and Exams Officer. If you have any queries or issues you would like to raise - please email email@example.com
Welcome to our School Website.
Newfield School has provision for pupils aged 5 -16 years old, who have a statement of educational needs that is primarily for social, emotional and mental health difficulties that manifest in behavioural ways (some may also have ADHD, Autism, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Learning difficulties and Social issues that would define their needs as complex). Our pupils come to us via our own and other local Authorities.
We are a busy, friendly and supportive, school with lots of exciting learning going on. We pride ourselves in developing a curriculum to ensure that every child has the best opportunities possible, so that when they leave us in Year 11, they can have the necessary qualifications to get them into college or the career of their choice.
Apart from our curriculum, all our staff offer fantastic pastoral care, making extra time to talk to and understand the needs of our pupils and students. We are proud of all our Pupils and know that they try their best, working hard to be the best they can.
