Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
Newfield School’s PE & Sport Grant
This funding is used to fund improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils, so that they can develop healthy lifestyles. Allocations are made using the numbers of pupils in years 1 to 6, and those age 5 in Year R, as recorded on the January Census.
Schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £8000 plus £5 per eligible child. Those with 16 or fewer eligible pupils receive £500 per eligible pupil.
Sports premium is paid in November; as a result September to November is spent in advance then debited back to the cost centre.

Exciting new project for Autumn 2022
We've recently had a local company visit school and met with our School Council with some ideas for new lower school play equipment, (please see plans below), estimated cost £14,000 I'm sure you will agree, this will be an excellent addition for our pupils to enjoy.
