Parents & Carers
Dear Parent/Carer
Welcome back to a new school term we hope you had a lovely summer break.
Your Childs flu immunisation is due this term.
It’s important that all parents/carers read and respond to this message to avoid receiving further telephone calls, texts and letters from our service.
Please visit this link https://econsent.merseycare.nhs.uk/ and complete your Childs flu form with a yes or no by the 13/09/24, you can select the nasal spray for the best protection or the alternative injectable flu if required via this link.
Any forms completed late may result in your child not receiving their flu immunisation at the school session.
Flu can be an unpleasant illness and sometimes causes serious complications. Vaccinating your child will help to protect them as well as more vulnerable family and friends by preventing the spread of flu this year.
Year 8(HPV) and 9 parents can also complete your childs secondary school immunisation forms via this link

In recognition that families of children and young people with complex needs and special educational needs often need a bit more support, we have launched a Social Care Advice Line for SEND. We know that many families would like to avoid the intrusion of a social care assessment for their child but parent carers and professionals sometimes don’t know what the other options are to get help. This advice line is staffed by two experienced social workers with a good knowledge of the Local Offer in Sefton. We are inviting parents or professionals to use this phone number to find out more about what a social care assessment for a child entails to help families make an informed decision before approaching social care, and to talk about what other help might be available. Voicemails will be responded to within 7 days at which point the social worker will return the call for a discussion.
The telephone number for our Social Care Advice Line for SEND is 0151 934 2196.
We will not create a referral or record any family details when families or professionals ring us for advice using this phone number.
