OUR CLASS:
Welcome to all our pupils and all our families. We have had a very good start to our school year and pupils are making fantastic progress. We are all very proud of them.
In our class…

- We use our strategies, when we feel frustrated because we know that help and support is always available, when we need it.

- Staff love to hear how well we are doing and help us to be even better.
- We have fun learning together.

We experience a wide range of lessons in all of these subjects. We also enjoy school trips and attending a range of activities that happen in and around school.

PE: Thursdays and Fridays - please bring in your school PE kit (plain black or navy shorts / plain black or navy jogging bottoms, a plain white top and trainers).
- In class, we read most days. We have just finished reading Goldfish Boy by Lisa Thompson Our current class novel is Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo.
- Please also aim to read as often as possible at home, as it helps you in all your subjects.
HOMEWORK:
Reading:
- Please aim to read each evening, either on your own or to an adult.
- Read all types of print in books, comics, newspapers, online etc - and please remember to tell your staff. We love hearing about your interests.
Times Tables:
- Please learn your times tables.
- You have log on details for TT Rockstars - you do this in school, but you can also access this at home too.
OUR FAMILIES:
- All our families give us fabulous support throughout the year and for that we thank you. We really appreciate you.
- Together we are a fantastic team, looking after your children and teaching them, and encouraging them to be the best they can be.

News Items:
As part of our Asdan course we are enjoying our Spanish language and culture class iEstupendo! The students are really engaged and immersing themselves into this new language.
We are currently completing an Asdan unit on Independent Living which includes us washing and ironing clothes and preparing food.
Here's to a fabulous year.
Religious Education - This half term, we are learning about Christianity and the bible. To bring our learning to life, we went to visit Holy Rosary Church in Aintree and had an informative tour from Fr Philip. We incorporated a picnic in the park and had a great day!
