We are currently reading Percy Jackson and the lightening thief. The class have made very creative predictions and we have used our Kung Fu Punctuation to create high quality sentences. Wow!

Maths

In mathematics, we are currently learning about Place value. We have worked really hard with this! ?

Science

In science we are learning about Earth and Space. We have learnt all about telescopes and made some of our own using paper towels and convex lenses.Wow! We have conducted lots of experiments such as tracking our shadows throughout the day.

Geography

History

We are learning all about Ancient Egypt. We have written our names in hieroglyphics, we have learnt all about the pharohs crown and even made some of our own. Beautiful!

Computing

PSHE

We love outdoor learning in Year 5! We have went on nature trails in our local area for our PSHE and SMSC lessons. We have been to the Marina to learn how to skim rocks. ??
