The Southport Eco Visitor Centre hosts an award-winning education facility with over 10 years’ experience of delivering inspirational sessions to schools, colleges and other groups from the North West and beyond.
The resident teachers provide fun, hands-on education covering a wide range of topics both in a classroom environment and outdoor settings. All visits are designed to enhance the current curriculum and offer innovative learning opportunities for all. New topics added to the 2015/16 education menu include ‘Pre-history/Stone Age’ and ‘Sea Defences’.
To find out more, you can visit the Eco Centre website, download its education menu or contact resident teachers Darren Lloyd and Julie Kirk by email Darren.Lloyd@sefton.gov.uk / Julie.Kirk@sefton.gov.uk
