As you will be aware Friday 15th March is Comic Relief / Red Nose Day. In school, we are planning on doing a number of things to help raise money for the charity.
From next Wednesday, 13th March, pupils will come round the classrooms selling red noses, that can worn on red nose day. On Friday 13th March, we will also encourage both pupils and staff to wear something red - Miss Crawley's favourite colour!
If we could ask for a 50p donation from pupils and £1 donation from staff that would be great.
On the day we will be selling 'special' red nose day cupcakes and selling raffle tickets to win a cake baked by one of the pupils. Mr Heath might (if he has time) be selling sausage and bacon barms which might be more appreciated by staff than pupils.
During class time, each class will coordinate a variety of events. Also, if there are any jokers in class , they could be challenged to tell a joke and the best ones can be announced in assembly with the winners getting a small prize.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
