At Newfield we believe that a clean tidy appearance helps you to be in the right frame of mind to start your learning. Full school uniform should be worn at all times.
Throughout school we encourage a clean tidy appearance. To promote this, School have supplied every child, on roll, with a FREE uniform ( Primary = Top and Sweatshirt. Secondary = Top, Sweatshirt and tie). Any new pupils joining us will also be supplied with a free uniform.
Parents / Carers are encouraged to clearly label all uniform with the child’s full name.
Plain coat or jacket, denim jackets, leather jackets and hoodies will not be allowed.
Baseball caps are not part of school uniform and should not be brought to school. If brought, we ask pupils to remove them in the building as a courtesy.
Developing self esteem and self image are important development stages for our pupils. As a consequence, make up and nail varnish are allowed with an appropriate appearance that is tidy and not threatening in manner. Nail varnish is not to be brought onto school site; staff have lunchtime clubs where use of these can be supervised. Plain stud earrings are allowed in the ears, but no piercings are allowed on the nose / eyebrow / face / tongue and will be asked to be removed to reduce health and safety risks
