Welcome to Class 1
We are so pleased to welcome all our class mates back to school; we have missed you all and can’t wait to get back to learning lots of exciting things.
This term in English we are reading an adventure story called ‘The Hodgeheg’, I wonder what Max is going to do?!
In Science we are learning all about animals, including humans! What is your favourite animal and what would you like to find out about it?
We have also got something new and exciting to take part in in school, it’s called an Activity Passport! We will be doing lots of fun and interesting activities, indoors and especially outdoors now that spring is here! Some examples include, cooking outdoors and climbing a tree.
Class 1, it has been a pleasure to get to know you all the past couple of weeks, thank you for giving me such a warm welcome as your new teacher. We have been so impressed by all the excellent work you have produced so far. Mr Ellerton, Miss Donovan and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead in Autumn 2!
This term, we have been learning to tell the time on analogue and digital clocks, you are now all top time tellers!
We also had lots of fun learning about Ancient Egypt in History, we even got to turn some of our class mates into mummies!
We’ve really enjoyed our Traditional Tales in English and your wonderful work is proudly on display in our classroom. .
Well done to you all!
