Pupils in Newfield Lower School at Newfield are taught a modern language in addition to developing English. The lower classes will opportunities to be taught about the culture and basic vocabulary of Spain and France.
At upper Key Stage 3 the pupils will continue to build on previous learning in French. However they also have the opportunity to access independent learning in a range of languages through access to the Linguascope program that Newfield School has subscribed to this academic year and which may also be accessed at home.
