Our class have all had a great start to the new academic year.
We have welcomed a few new members to our class and they have settled in well. We are looking forward to beginning our KS4 curriculum and gaining our qualifications in:

In year 10 our pupils embark on their Duke of Edinburgh Award, this will see the pupils going out on trips to undertake activities that will go towards gaining this qualification. Pupils will experience a varied curriculum, where everybody has a chance to succeed and progress towards their future when leave Newfield!
School trips: as well as trips for the Duke of Edinburgh, we will be arranging class trips throughout the year to enhance their learning. Trips to reward pupils for good behaviour will be arranged in addition to educational visits. Mrs Lindsay will keep a record of all good behaviour and attitudes for every lesson for our class.
Homework: pupils will be given homework throughout the year. If you need any additional support then do not hesitate to get in touch with Miss Ainscough or Mrs Lindsay so we can help to support your child.
