Welcome to our School Website.
Newfield School has provision for pupils aged 5 -16 years old, who have a statement of educational needs that is primarily for social, emotional and mental health difficulties that manifest in behavioural ways (some may also have ADHD, Autism, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Learning difficulties and Social issues that would define their needs as complex). Our pupils come to us via our own and other local Authorities. Our number of pupils on roll is a maximum of 81.
We are a busy, friendly and supportive, school with lots of exciting learning going on. We pride ourselves in developing a curriculum to ensure that every child has the best opportunities possible, so that when they leave us in Year 11, they can have the necessary qualifications to get them into college or the career of their choice.
Apart from our curriculum, all our staff offer fantastic pastoral care, making extra time to talk to and understand the needs of our pupils and students. We are proud of all our Pupils and know that they try their best, working hard to be the best they can.
Our website aims to give you a taster of our school and of the wonderful achievements of our pupils, as well as providing parents and carers with up to date information. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for - if you can't find it, please contact school direct with any queries you may have, or to arrange an appointment to come and visit us.
