OFSTED is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
We are always very proud of our pupils in both primary and secondary however it's always great to have this officially recognised by OFSTED.
They say in their report that 'Pupils who have previously refused to attend other schools start to change their behaviours when coming to Newfield. .. They go on to say that 'current pupils make good progress from their individual starting points.'
These results don't happen overnight and it is a huge credit to all the hard work and input from all our staff who believe in our pupils and work with them, striving for the pupils to achieve the best results that they can achieve.
Staff continually believe in our pupils and as our pupils told the OFSTED inspectors 'This is a school that understands them.'
Well done to everyone - we are extremely proud of you.
